While the Hawks might be excited about rookie Jordan Crawford who has been averaging 14.6 points, 3.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game, the same cannot be said about their performance as a team in the preseason. More precisely, Atlanta won just one out of five games so far and struggled significantly at the offensive end of the floor. Thus, Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks will try to bounce back when they face the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday at 11 p.m. GMT.
Even though the Bobcats opened the preseason with four losses in a row, the team around Stephen Jackson seems to be getting back on track as the franchise from North Carolina won two in a row versus the Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat. However, there is no doubt that the departure of point guard Raymond Felton and starting center Tyson Chandler left a hole in the Bobcats' offense that has yet to be filled. Averaging just 85 points per contest in the preseason, coach Larry Brown's squad will eventually have to find a way to score more consistently. Therefore, the Bobcats will probably have to bring their A-game to avoid a loss versus the Hawks on Friday night.
