Holding on to a 42-32 record, it looks like the Hawks will enter the post-season as number five seed in the East, most likely facing the Orlando Magic in the first round. Thus, Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks will host the Boston Celtics on Saturday at midnight GMT.

Having lost three of their last four games, the pressure on the Celtics is rising as the franchise from Massachusetts is already two games behind the Chicago Bulls with less than three weeks to play in the regular season. Nonetheless, coach Doc Rivers is counting on his veterans to elevate their level of play in order to clinch the number one seed in the Eastern Conference down the stretch. That said, it remains to be seen whether trading defensive anchor Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green will pay any dividends. As of now, Green appears to be little more than a role player, averaging 10.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game. Yet, considering Atlanta’s poor record against teams above the .500 mark, the Celtics should be able to get away with a victory on Saturday night.
