Sunday 10th April 17:00 - 19:30 GMT

After three consecutive wins to start the preseason, Orlando is very confident to compete with the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat for Eastern Conference supremacy in this year's NBA campaign. Nonetheless, coach Stan van Gundy is still hoping for Vince Carter to adjust his game more to the presence of Dwight Howard and play more team oriented down the stretch. Thus, Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic will face the Chicago Bulls at home on Saturday at 11 p.m. GMT.

Although the Bulls experienced a severe setback when All-Star Carlos Boozer broke his hand two weeks ago, the team of coach Tom Thibodeau made significant progress in the preseason so far. One one hand, Kyle Korver showed that he can be a consistent scorer and does not hesitate to shoot from three point land. On the other hand, the Bulls seem to focus more on pushing the ball off turnovers which has been very efficient due to the speed and athleticism of starting point guard Derrick Rose. Therefore, Chicago can be expected to give Dwight Howard and company a run for their money when the game gets underway on Saturday.

Albeit the Magic might not have been as dominant as they were hoping to be before the season got underway, coach Stan van Gundy squad has certainly shown that they can rightfully be considered a championship contender in 2009-10. Hoping to extend their five-game winning streak, Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic will take on the Chicago Bulls at Amway Arena on Friday at 1 a.m. GMT.

After dropping four straight, the Bulls are under pressure to get their act together and avoid falling behind in the playoff race. Most importantly, Chicago's rotational players will have to step up and start knocking down shots as coach Vinny del Negro's squad experienced significant problems in finding consistent offensive productivity apart from All-Star guard Derrick Rose. In 62 appearances, Rose put up 20.6 points, 5.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds per contest.

The Magic on the other hand are holding on to the second place in the Eastern Conference, posting an excellent 44-20 record. Yet, considering the amount of money GM Otis Smith spent on acquiring Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat and Brandon Bass, the franchise's front-office was certainly hoping for a more significant improvement. That said, the Magic still have the opportunity to shine in the post-season, although overcoming LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will be a tough challenge. Taking everything into account, it looks like Orlando Magic might have an edge over the struggling Bulls on Friday night. After all, the Magic are not only one of the best home-teams in the league but also have significant match-up advantages at most positions.
