Entering the season ready to make a run at a championship ring, the Cleveland Cavaliers got off to a slow start as they lost two in a row. Thus, LeBron James and the Cavs are highly motivated to bounce back versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday at midnight GMT.

Despite LeBron James' 38 point-performance, the Cavaliers were unable to make it past the Boston Celtics in their home opener at Quicken Loans Arena. Similarly, LeBron put up a triple-double one day later in Toronto, but the Cavs lost once again. With all the additions during the off-season, Mike Browns' squad is still trying to find its rhythm offensively. So far, the Cavaliers showed very little ball movement and relied entirely on James' ability to score and find the open teammate. Most importantly, Shaquille O'Neal and Zydrunas Ilgauskas will have to become more dominant in the low-post and take advantage of mismatches.

Unlike the Cavaliers, the Minnesota Timberwolves can only dream of a championship and would probably be thrilled to win even 30 games in 2009-10. That said, the Wolves have a lot of young talent on their roster that could transform into a playoff team over the next years. More specifically, Ramon Sessions and Jonny Flynn look like a very promising point-guard tandem and could develop into one of the most dynamic backcourts in the league. In their 95-93 win versus the Nets on opening night, rookie Jonny Flynn showed an excellent performance as he put up 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Unfortunately for the Wolves, the Cavaliers might just be overdue to play up to their potential and will probably be too much to handle for Minnesota. Moreover, Kevin Love is still out with an injury and will be sorely missed when it comes to guarding O'Neal and Ilgauskas. Either way, the audience can expect an entertaining ball game when the team around All-Star LeBron James takes on Al Jefferson and the Timberwolves.
