Holding on to a mediocre 3-5 record, the Knicks are still trying to find their rotation and hopefully make some progress as the season goes on. Thus, Amar'e Stoudemire and the New York Knicks will host the Houston Rockets on Monday at 0:30 a.m. GMT.

Without any doubts, the Rockets' front-office was expecting a much better start from coach Rick Adelman's squad as the team around Yao Ming lost six out of seven games to start this year's NBA campaign. One big problem has been Houston's inability to adapt to Yao Ming's presence on the court as they struggled in half-court sets. Likewise, the Rockets' defense has been horrendous as they allowed a whopping 111 points per contest in the first two weeks of regular season play. The only bright spot up to this point has been the performance of Luis Scola who put up 22.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Considering these issues, the Rockets will have to play much better basketball to avoid a defeat versus Amar'e Stoudemire and company on Monday night.
