Right in the playoff mix of the Eastern Conference, the Cavaliers are very content with the way things have been going up to this point and are confident to secure a playoff berth down the stretch. Thus, the Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to climb to 8-9 when they host Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat on Friday at 1 a.m. GMT.

Considering that most NBA experts thought that the Heat would become one of the best teams in the league after acquiring LeBron James and Chris Bosh, Miami’s weak performance to start the 2010-11 season was certainly a surprise. Most importantly, the Heat’s All-Stars struggled to accept their new role which resulted in a lack of ball movement and very little teamplay. Similarly, Bosh and James seemed to intentionally reject coach Erik Spoelstra’s instructions at times which ultimately resulted in a mediocre 9-8 record after one month of play. Thus, the Heat will have to do a much better job at playing as one unit when they visit the Cavs on Friday night.
