Being forced to play the preseason with most starters sidelined by injuries, Milwaukee's role players have been receiving plenty of playing time to make a case for a bigger role in 2010-11. Especially Drew Gooden looked like a solid forward-center who could end up playing most backup minutes behind Andrew Bogut down the stretch. Thus, Brandon Jennings and the Milwaukee Bucks will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road on Sunday at 11 p.m. GMT.

Even though the Wolves received a tremendous amount of criticism over the last years, the franchise could finally be overdue to make a big step forward in this year's NBA campaign. Most importantly, the Minnesota Timberwolves finally decided to trade Al Jefferson and simultaneously acquired Michael Beasley to bring in some more scoring. Likewise, bringing in Martell Webster from the Portland Trail Blazers was an excellent move as the 6-7 forward has been averaging 17.7 points and 3.7 rebounds off the bench. Similarly, rookie forward Wesley Johnson could make his way into the Wolves' rotation and managed to put up 12 points per contest despite playing limited minutes. Taking Minnesota's recent performance into consideration, it looks like Michael Beasley and company could very well have a slight edge over the shorthanded Bucks on Sunday night.
