While the Minnesota Timberwolves showed a lot of positive signs in the preseason, their defense left much to be desired so far as they allowed no less than 104 points per game. Thus, the Timberwolves will head to Florida where they will play Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic at Amway Center on Wednesday at 11 p.m. GMT.

Given the fact that the Magic won all of their preseason games and looked very sharp, it was relatively surprising that they were blown out of the gym by LeBron James and the Miami Heat in the first week of the regular season. Especially former All-Star guard Vince Carter did not show any effort whatsoever and was one of the reasons that Stan van Gundy's squad struggled. That said, there is no doubt that the Magic can play much better basketball and should be able to improve as the season goes on. Therefore, Orlando should be able to overcome the T-Wolves on Wednesday night if Dwight Howard and company play up to their potential.
