New Orleans Hornets v Memphis Grizzlies Live
Even though the New Orleans Hornets won just one preseason game up to this point, one should take into account that the franchise underwent some changes this summer and coach Monty Williams will need some time go get everyone on the same page. That said, New Orleans showed that they can make things difficult for their opponents when they rallied to a 91-76 win over the Miami Heat earlier this week. Thus, Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets will try to make some progress when they meet the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday at midnight GMT.
Given the fact that the Memphis Grizzlies barely made any changes to the squad that failed to make it to the playoffs in 2009-10, the excellent preseason performance of the team around Rudy Gay is somewhat surprising. More specifically, Memphis won four straight in the preseason so far and has been playing particularly well on the defensive end of the floor. Keeping their opponents to less than 100 points in three games, the Grizzlies are evidently working on their key weakness of last year's NBA campaign. Therefore, Memphis can be expected to give Chris Paul and company a run for their money on Tuesday night.
