Hardly anyone expected the Thunder to make a 27-win turnaround last year, yet, the franchise from Oklahoma City Thunder managed to feed off the spectacular play of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to make it to the playoffs. Unlike the Thunder, the Heat blew up most of their roster over the summer as GM Pat Riley was able to convince LeBron James and Chris Bosh to come to South Beath in order to play together with All-Star guard Dwayne Wade. Moreover, Miami did not only sign James, Bosh and Wade, but also did an excellent job in rounding out their roster with little cap space to do so. More precisely, the 'Miami Thrice' will be joined by swingman Mike Miller, sharp shooter Eddie House and veteran centers Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Udonis Haslem as well as point guard Mario Chalmers. Even though the Heat have yet to prove that they are a well-functioning unit on the court, they might have a slight edge over the Thunder as far as individual talent is concerned.
