Whereas the Magic are still holding on to the second place in the East, the team around Dwight Howard lost some of its momentum as they dropped two straight versus the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks earlier this week. In contrast, the Jazz are very excited with their start into the 2010-11 season as they did not only compensate for the loss of Carlos Boozer, but did in fact improve compared to their level of play in last year’s NBA campaign. Holding on to a 16-6 record, Utah is right in the race for home-court advantage in the competitive Western Conference and could very well emerge as a legitimate title contender as the season goes on. Offensively, All-Star point guard Deron Williams is still running the show and put up no less than 21.8 points, 10.0 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals per contest. Considering the excellent performance of both teams up to this point, fans around the league can look forward to a great ball game on Saturday night.
