Leading the NBA with an outstanding 42-8 record, the Spurs have been playing phenomenal basketball in the first half of this year’s NBA campaign. Even though the Raps entered the season in rebuilding mode, they were able to remain competitive until they got derailed by injuries to key players in December. More precisely, Linas Kleiza, Jose Calderon, Jerryd Bayless, Leandro Barbosa, Reggie Evans, Sonny Weems and Andrea Bargnani all missed multiple games which led to significant problems on the court. Nonetheless, the Raptors will most likely have to pray for a miracle to avoid a loss versus the Spurs on Thursday night.
