While some might have had their doubts how well Al Jefferson would fit into Utah’s roster, the forward-center has been looking very comfortable in Jerry Sloan’s system and helped the Jazz to a 9-5 record. Thus, Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz are hoping to get their tenth win of the season when they take on the New Orleans Hornets on Thursday at 2 a.m. GMT.

Even though most NBA experts agreed that the Hornets' underachieved last year, very few thought that the team around Chris Paul would be able to establish itself at the top of the Western Conference in the first month of play in 2010-11. Yet, New Orleans has been playing excellent basketball up to this point and managed to start this year's NBA campaign with 11 wins in 12 games. Especially their performance at the defensive end of the floor has been unbelievable as Emeka Okafor and company lead the league at just 90.4 points per game. Likewise, shooting guard Marco Belinelli looked like a great addition and contributed 12.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 28 minutes per contest. Therefore, the Jazz will most likely have a tough time securing a win when they face the Hornets on Thursday night.
