Having won just three of the last ten games, the Blazers are having a surprisingly tough time to stay in the playoff race early in this year’s NBA campaign. Trying to elevate their level of play, the Portland Trail Blazers will host Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic at Rose Garden on Friday at 3:30 a.m. GMT.

Trailing the first ranked Boston Celtics by just one game, the Magic are very happy with the way things have been going in the first six weeks of regular season play. Hanging on to a 15-5 record, Orlando is once again competing for Eastern Conference supremacy and was led by an excellent performance of franchise cornerstone Dwight Howard. Averaging 21.3 points, 12.1 boards and 2.4 blocks per game, the All-Star center has been dominating the low-post area at both ends of the floor and is hoping to help the team from Southern Florida to a championship run down the stretch. That said, Orlando might have to pull off another strong performance when they meet Brandon Roy and company on Friday.
