Orlando Magic Still Going Strong
Backcourt players Jameer Nelson and Mickeal Pietrus as well as Keith Bogans, who is top sub for the Orlando Magic team, have all been out of the game and unable to play for the past week due to injuries. The Orlando Magic team has suffered few injuries over the past several years, but is finding new strength in its other players on the court. Nelson had previously suffered a strained hip flexor injury, resulting in him being unable to play during the past several games.
The loss of players on the backcourts due to several injuries has turned into a positive point for the Orlando Magic, giving them a chance to test the abilities of other players on the court which has proved to be to their advantage. Pietrus will be out of commission for at least three weeks due to a torn thumb ligament. While not all players performed well, the Orlando Magic team may still consider a roster move. Nelson is expected to recover in time to play next Friday's match against Oklahoma City.
