Even though the U.S. might not have the likes of LeBron James and Dwade Wade playing for them this summer, coach Mike Krzyzewski can count on NBA All-Stars Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant to lead the team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey this month. Thus, Danny Granger and the United States will face Lithuania in an exhibition game prior to said tournament on Saturday at 8 p.m. GMT.

Lithuania on the other hand has yet to name their final roster and could once again have to compete without some of their best players. Most importantly, center Zydrunas Ilgauskas from the Miami Heat is going to miss the tournament where as Šaru-nas Jasikevic(ius is still dealing with family problems that could prevent him from playing as well. That said, Lithuanian fans are expecting to see Linas Kleiza from the Toronto Raptors as well as Darius Songeila from the New Orleans Hornets to carry the team to a medal in Turkey.

In contrast, anything else than a title would be very disappointing for the American squad. After all, they have arguably the best individual players and deepest roster of all participating teams. While the U.S. are a little bit short up front with Tyson Chandler being the team's only legitimate center, their backcourt will most likely dominate their opponents on a daily basis. More specifically, Rajon Rondo, Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook will get most minutes where as Stephen Curry and Eric Gordon will be the team's designated shooters off the bench. Likewise, Danny Granger from the Indiana Pacers and Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Tunder are two of the best wing players in the NBA and will be very tough to contain down the stretch. Taking said circumstances into account, it appears to be a justified assumption that the United States should be able to clinch a double digit win on Saturday night if they play up to their potential.
